Helen, Georgia is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River. There is a rich Cherokee Indian history, mixed with German heritage. The town itself, was once an abandon lumber camp. A group of business men brought it new life when they redesigned the town to mirror a Bavarian Village. Helen hosts many festivals throughout the year and they are a biker paradise. Helen hosted the Georgia State Hog Rally in 2009. The area boasts scenic rides with excellent restaurants to stop and grab a bite.

The Troll Tavern offers the best service, drinks and food in town. They offer ample seating inside and out. They are easy to spot as you cross the bridge over the Chattahoochee River that leads to town, look for the red checks and umbrellas on the deck by the river.

Bernies Restaurant was built in 1920. Bernies features a bed and breakfast and fine dining. They have beautiful scenery, and friendly staff. Open to the public for lunch and dinner.
